Monitor the %%climate impact%% of your flights

Monitor CO₂ emissions of Landing and Take-Off (LTO) cycles based on exact taxiing itineraries, times in mode, and emissions factors based on the precise engine type

Monitor APU emissions in line with ICAO 9889 recommendations

Monitor in-flight emissions based on 4D flight trajectories, wind, considering detours, holding patterns, and aircraft mass

All aircraft types covered, including general aviation

Landing and Take-Off cycle emissions
  • Automatically track LTO emissions in the vicinity of the airport
  • Our AI segmentation of airport apron, taxiways and runways enables state-of-the-art times-in-mode computations
  • Follow the ICAO 9889 standard with latest aircraft-engine pairings
  • Act where it matters: taxi times, aircraft types incentives...
Full flight emissions
  • Automatically track in-flight fuel burn and CO₂ emissions
  • Our flight physics model looks at wind, temperature and aircraft mass evolution to retrieve fuel burn from 4D flight trajectories
  • Track the effect of delays, holding patterns & headwinds on fuel burn
  • Include Sustainable Aviation Fuel life cycle savings

What if airports could act %%on in-flight emissions ?%%

Our collaboration with Bordeaux airport and SAF producer Elyse Energy

  • Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) is a key aviation decarbonization lever.
  • Due to its chemical properties, SAF can also reduce the impact of contrail formation.
  • Estuaire is ready to engage local fuel suppliers to distribute higher blend SAF to contrail-prone flights

Frequently asked questions

Where does the flight data come from?

Estuaire leverages Automatic Dependent Surveillance-Broadcast (ADS-B) from the aircraft. It is used in state-of-the-art climate modeling to derive accurate, per-flight emissions data. If you already have an antenna installed, we should talk.

Does the system give real-time results?

No, our insights are retrospective, allowing us to process the actual flight tracks with actual weather data post-flight. Currently, our system delivers monthly results, but we can provide weekly should your business require it.

Which flights are covered? Can Estuaire track aircraft emissions for airlines operating at my airport?

We cover commercial and general aviation flights globally. We can provide detailed emissions data (CO2, non-CO2, and life cycle impact) for all departures and arrivals, segmented by airline, aircraft type, and time period.

How can this help with my airport's sustainability targets or certifications?

Our data supports Airport Carbon Accreditation (ACA) Level 3 and above, Scope 3 reporting aligned with the GHG Protocol, and can inform your climate impact strategy beyond ground operations.

Can we identify high-impact flights or airlines?

Yes, Estuaire data enables hotspot analysis across flights, allowing airports to engage stakeholders on climate mitigation and SAF enablement.

How reliable is your data?

We have benchmarked our data against flight data recorders and found that our data has a Mean Relative Percentage Error (MPRE) of less than 1% MPRE on a statistically-significant data set of flights.

Is Estuaire data auditable?

Yes, our data is fully auditable by ACA verifiers or specialized auditors. We stand ready to share our full methodology documents and exchange with auditors directly.
