When should I use the RESTful Climate Impact API?

The API can be used to monitor CO2 and non-CO2 climate impact using Estuaire's historical database. It can also be used to calculate real-time impact based on standard operational flight plans, or derived from Quick Access Recorder data, for pre-or post-flight analysis

What information can I fetch from the API?

Both direct and indirect climate impact of a flight can be retrieved from our API. Direct emissions include, but are not limited to: tank-to-wake CO2 emissions, soot, NOx or H2O expressed in kg CO2-equivalent. Indirect emissions includes aircraft manufacturing, airport energy use, or upstream fuel production emissions.

Can it integrate easily with my system?

Estuaire Climate Impact API proposes a simple endpoint, requiring a flight number and a date, to retrieve emissions from our historical emissions database.

For more accurate results, advanced endpoints are available in order to compute MRV-compliant emissions from Operational Flight Plan or Quick Access Recorder-based data.

What are the pricing and usage limit?

How are data security & privacy are handled ?
  • Encryption in Transit and at Rest: All data sent to and from our API is encrypted using TLS 1.2+ (HTTPS). If your use-case involves a specific setup, feel free to contact our team for a custom offer.

  • Data Retention: We only store data as long as necessary to fulfill the service requirements, after 1 year.
