Estuaire took part BFMTV's program highlighting the French aviation startup ecosystem. Invited alongside Ascendance, represented by Thibault Baldivia - Co-founder and commercial director, and Olivier Piepsz, co-founder and president of PROMÉTHÉE Earth Intelligence, Maxime Meijers, Estuaire's co-founder and CEO joined a discussion hosted by François Sorel on one of the industry's most pressing questions: how aviation can continue to grow while addressing climate challenges in a context of geopolitical uncertainty and rising fuel costs?

During the interview, Maxime explained how high-quality environmental data can help airlines and aviation stakeholders better understand the real impact of their operations. By accurately measuring flight emissions and identifying the factors that influence them, data becomes a powerful decision-making tool, enabling more efficient flight trajectories, optimized operations, and meaningful reductions in environmental impact.

The discussion also provided an opportunity to showcase the momentum of France's aviation innovation ecosystem through the Start'Air initiative, led by GIFAS. Bringing together more than 100 startups representing over €700 million in cumulative revenues, the initiative demonstrates the growing role of innovative companies in shaping the future of aerospace.

Watch the full interview below to discover the conversation on aviation, innovation, and the role of data in accelerating the sector's transition toward more sustainable operations.
